Format for Camera-ready Manuscripts

Authors are requested to conform strictly to the following format when submitting their camera-ready papers for the symposium proceedings.

1. The entire paper should not be more than four pages in length including diagrams and illustrations and should be printed in a two-column format on A4 size (29.7cm x 21cm) paper.
2. The top/bottom margins should be set at 2.54cm and 2.54cm respectively. Left and right margins should be set at 2cm with a 1 cm spacing between the two columns.
3. Only the Times New Roman and Symbol fonts should be used in the paper including mathematical equations. This restriction is imposed to ensure proper conversion of the paper into electronic format.
4. The font sizes to be used are shown in the following table:
a) Paper title: Font Size 14; Bold;
b) Author’s name and Authors’ affiliations:Font Size 12;
c) Main text: Font Size 10;
d) Section and subsection headings: Font Size 10; Bold;
e) References; table names; table captions; figure captions; footnotes: Font Size 9;
5. The title should be centered near the top of the first page and each word should start with a capital letter. Show the authors’ names and the name, address, city and country of the organizations centered below the title.
6. The paper should begin with an abstract of no more than 200 words two lines below the organization names. A list of keywords should be provided after the abstract. The main text should begin 1 line after the list of keywords. Numbering of sections and subsections is optional.
7. A space should be inserted between the value and the unit of a physical quantity (e.g. 5 mW/cm2)
8. Mathematical functions and equations should be typed in using an equation editor.
9. Table titles should appear above the table.
10. Figures should be placed either within the text or grouped together at the end of the paper. All figures should be scanned and/or pasted in and should have a figure caption below the figure. Figures should be referred in sequence in the text.
11. Photographs should be high quality glossy prints with good contrast.
12. References should be arranged in the quoted order and marked between square brackets (i.e.[1], [2] etc.).
13. The style of reference for journal articles is: authors, title of article, name of periodical, volume number, pages, year.
14. The style of reference for books is: author, name of book, publisher, city, year, pages.
